13th Annual Haley’s Team Twilight 5K

Join us for the 13th Annual Haley’s Team Event! This race once again takes place at beautiful McClellan in Anniston, Alabama. The lights will be on for this event as we will be running under the stars. Come out and have fun while helping a great cause. Proceeds from this event will fund Cystic Fibrosis Medical Research at the University of Alabama Birmingham. The course is fast and fairly flat and winds through beautiful McClellan.

Race Times: The Kirk’s Kids 1K will begin at 7:00 PM; the Twilight 5K will begin at 8:00 PM. Start Location is in the Medical Mall parking lot near the intersection of Exchange Avenue and Town Center Drive (directions below).

Price: $20 until 6 June and $25 up until and including the day of the race (Anniston Runners Club and Gadsden Runners Club members receive a $3 discount). In-person registration the night of the race begins at 5:30 PM and closes at 6:45 PM for the 1k and 7:45 for the 5k race. The Haley’s Team 1k Fun Run is $15 (Anniston Runners Club and Gadsden Runners Club receive $2 discount). The Haley’s Kids 1k will start promptly at 7:00 PM, followed by the 5K which starts promptly at 8:00 PM Sorry, registrations are not transferrable and YOU CANNOT RUN BOTH THE 1k AND 5k UNLESS YOU PAY FOR BOTH! Also please note that the Kirk’s Kids Fun Run is limited to ages 12 and under!

T-shirts will be provided for the first 200 registrants. Sizes are guaranteed to runners that pre-register prior up to and including 6 June. All late and race day registrants t-shirts will be provided until supplies run out.

Door Prizes will be announced upon completion of the 5k.

Refreshments will be available at the start/finish line. Water will be available at both the 1 mile and 2 mile markers.

Awards: Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 males and top 3 females overall for the 5k and for the top 3 overall finishers for the 1k.

Medals for the 5k will be awarded to the top 3 males and top 3 females in each of the following age groups:
9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70-over

Medals for the 1k: All finishers will receive a finisher’s medal.

Address and Directions: The starting line is in front of the McClellan Park Medical Mall. From I-20 in Oxford, take Hwy 21 North for about 7 miles. At the first traffic signal past Coosa Valley Youth Services on the right, turn right onto Summerall Gate Road next to Lowes and continue on this road until you hit the intersection of Exchange Avenue and Town Center Drive.
